I didn’t get a motorcycle for Christmas but I can still dream, can’t I?! -Artemis
I made this photo with “Dream AI” from the Google play store. It’s a really fun app. Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is taking the Internet by storm. You enter text, pick a style and watch your idea become an AI-powered painting. You can save and share your creation as I did here!
Other Types of AI
There are several different types of artificial intelligence (AI), including the following:
- Reactive Machines: These are the most basic type of AI systems, which are capable of reacting to stimuli in their environment but do not have the ability to form memories or use past experiences to inform present or future actions.
- Limited Memory: These AI systems have limited memory, which allows them to use past experiences to inform present or future decisions.
- Theory of Mind: This type of AI is designed to be able to understand and simulate human emotions and mental states.
- Self-awareness: This is the most advanced type of AI, which is capable of introspection and self-awareness.
- Chat: Still under development but ask this AI anything. Some fear it may replace Google as a search engine!
It’s worth noting that the development of AI is an active area of research and these categories are not mutually exclusive. AI systems may exhibit characteristics of multiple types, depending on their design and capabilities.

Will Tik Tok be Banned?
In 2021, the U.S. government took steps to ban the Chinese-owned video-sharing app TikTok in the United States, citing concerns about national security and data privacy. In August 2021, the Trump administration issued an executive order directing TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to divest its U.S. assets within 90 days or face a ban on the app. However, this ban was not implemented and the matter is still being litigated in court.
It is not clear what the current status of the ban is or whether it will ultimately be implemented. It is also possible that the ban could be lifted or modified by a future administration. It is important to note that the U.S. government’s efforts to ban TikTok are a complex and evolving issue, and it is difficult to predict what will happen in the future.
